"and that's how you wash your hands, you filthy animals"
Well, it's definitely one way to wash them.
There's also plenty of other, slightly less bizarre and much more efficient ways to do it too of course, but it's just not the one Paddy McGuinness and his wife Christine have gone for.
At this point, celebrity hand washing videos are nothing new. Everyone seems to have given it a go, even Manc legend Liam Gallagher chipped in. Honestly though, we can guarantee you haven't seen one quite like this. Take that whichever way you like.
Posted across his social media accounts this morning, Paddy McGuinness shared video of himself and wife Christine washing their hands and urging the British public to do the same amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Sounds normal right?
Well, we'd like to add that Paddy is shirtless throughout the video and is washing both their hands in a rather suggestive way, to put it politely. To top it off, the video is sound-tracked by The Righteous Brothers' famous rendition of 'Unchained Melody' from the 1990 film Ghost.
Basically, it's like the Boltonian re-make of Ghost? But with hand washing instead of pottery?
Look, it's a lot to take in but the video does all the talking needed, so it's probably best if you just watch it for yourself.
You can't unsee that now unfortunately. That's an image that'll be living in your head for a while.
At the end of the day though, if it's somehow getting the message across in a round about sort of way, then we can't really knock them can we? Might as well just let them crack on.
Keep washing your hands Manchester.
