A section of Deansgate has been closed off this morning after a person was hit by a motorbike.
A section of the busy road was shut in both directions at around 8.30am following the incident in which one person has suffered head injuries.
The closure starts at Blackfriars Street and ends at Bridge Street.

Transport has been disrupted with buses currently being diverted along Chapel Street, inbound and outbound from the City Centre.
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said: "There has been a road traffic collision between a motorbike and a pedestrian.
"It was reported to us at 8.30am and emergency services are present."
According to the ambulance service, two patients are being treated. One is a male in his 20s.
