There’s no escaping the inevitable onslaught of Christmas, even though we’re only in September still.
At least it’s good news, though, as Marks and Spencer has announced its Christmas food and drink range and it all looks incredible.
The M&S festive offerings include a sticky toffee pudding trifle, Brie En Croute, sparkling gold clementine gin liqueur, vegan pigs in blankets and an absolutely massive chocolate eclair.
However, the pièce de résistance is the Christmas Colin the Caterpillar, an incredibly festive take on the birthday party classic.
Festive Colin isn’t out yet, but keep your eyes peeled come late October-early November as the Christmas range starts to hit stores, as he’ll be about (the cake will set you back £10).
As for savoury, you can get a delicious flaky, cheesy Brie En Croute for £10, or if you’re off the meat you can grab some Vegan Pigs In Blankets.
For those with a sweet tooth, you’re absolutely spoiled for choice, with Sticky Toffee Trifle for £12, Christmas Rainbow Cake for £15 and a massive eclair - fittingly called ‘Biggest Ever Eclair’ - going for a tenner.
If you fancy a drink there’s some great boozy options, like a Clementine Gin Liqueur Snow Globe for £15, a Christmapolitan Cocktail - “A festive take on the classic Cosmo with the addition of subtle spices” - and Trifle Flavour Cream for £15 (a bit like a festive Baileys).
Well that’s got me in the festive spirit big time...
