Manchester City opens new shop in the Arndale – with the Premier League trophy in store
With interactive photo stations, loads of merch, and some very famous silverware.
Manchester City has opened a brand new store in the Arndale, with the actual Premier League trophy on proud display all weekend.
The new shop has opened on the first floor of the huge shopping centre, with an extensive City retail offering.
Inside, shoppers will find a collection of kits and memorabilia in a bespoke City shopping experience.
There’s even the ‘Meet the Players’ interactive photo wall, where you can take a selfie with players of your choosing and customise your photo with stickers.
And to celebrate its launch, the Manchester City store will have the Premier League trophy displayed in-store, ready for people to have their photo taken with the iconic silverware.
Fans will be able to have their photo with the trophy between 9am and 6pm on Friday 26 May,
and 10am to 6pm on both Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May.
And as well as the chance to see one of the most famous trophies in the world, fans will have the chance to win free giveaways while stocks last, and experience new digital activations.
The club’s mascots, Moonbeam and Moonchester, are also there greeting shoppers today.
Inside, you’ll find a sea of sky blue products and goodies like mugs, mini figures, hats, pin badges and footballs.
A huge screen outside shows snippets of players including Jack Grealish, Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne, while inside another screen replays some iconic Man City moments from through the years.
The opening comes a week after the launch of the 2023/24 Puma home kit, which has already achieved record sales for the club.
The official store opening hours are:
- Monday to Saturday 9am-8pm
- Sunday 11.30am-5.30pm
