KFC is slashing 50% off boneless bucket and reducing prices on other “fan favourites” this week
KFC is offering price reductions on "fan favourite" menu items this week thanks to the new VAT reduction.
KFC UK & Ireland has announced today that it’s offering price reductions on “fan favourite” menu items this week thanks to the new VAT reduction.
VAT rates are being cut from 20% to 5% tomorrow – as announced by Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak in his #PlanForJobs – and to celebrate, KFC is cutting the price of its Boneless Budget Bucket from £10 to £4.99.
The offer will run from tomorrow to Sunday 19th July only.
In a statement on Twitter this afternoon, KFC said: “The VAT reduction comes at a time of continuing economic uncertainty, so it’s an important initiative in terms of supporting our restaurants and teams, as well as the recovery of our whole sector.”
“It’s welcome news.”
“Equally, our fans have been amazing over the past few months, so we are rolling out price reductions across our menu too.”
Instead of a price cuts across the board, KFC will be slashing £1 off all of its sharing buckets and 50p off many other “fan favourites”, although it hasn’t specified what these are. Prices vary depending on the branch, but typically a family feast six piece sharing bucket will cost £12.99 instead of £13.99, while a party bucket will set you back £24.99, down from £25.99.
Like the boneless bucket deal, these offers will also end on Sunday night, so you’ll need to be quick if you want to get your hands on them.
KFC has said that it will be running more deals in the coming weeks, although we’re none the wiser as to what these will be currently, so it’s best just to keep your eyes peeled.
