You can now get a giant rosé wine pouch from M&S that’s like an ‘adult Capri Sun’
The La Dame En Rose 1.5 litre wine pouch takes all the faff out of alfresco drinking.
Marks & Spencer have launched a new giant rosé wine pouch bag, and it’s already got some shoppers comparing it to an “adult Capri Sun”.
Many wine lovers will admit that nothing beats sipping on an ice cold glass of rosé wine in the summer sunshine, but it turns out it can only get better if the fruity tipple comes in a convenient portable pouch complete with its own tap.
Although, with the product paying a strong resemblance to the classic juice drink Capri Sun, maybe the tap isn’t really needed?
Just stick a straw in the top instead.
Aptly launched to celebrate National Rosé Day, The La Dame En Rose 1.5 litre wine pouch – which is the equivalent to two standard bottles of wine – takes all the faff out of alfresco drinking, and is described as “crisp, fruity and fresh”.
The product description for La Dame En Rose wine on the M&S website reads: “A fruity and soft rosé made from grapes grown in the Terres du Midi region of South of France.
“A versatile rosé to enjoy with a range of foods and ideal for picnics and barbecues.”
The supermarket retailer also recommended that the wine be served “lightly chilled or over ice”, and should be used within one month of opening the bag.
News of the wine pouch – which also comes with its own handle at the top to make it even more convenient to carry – went down a treat with wine lovers when M&S shared it on Instagram earlier this week, racking up over 1,800 likes and more than a hundred comments.
Although it may be subject to change at different M&S branches, the La Dame En Rose 1.5L Pouch should set you back just £10.25.
