A massive festival especially for dogs and their owners is heading back to Tatton Park in Cheshire by popular demand next month.
Described as being the “ultimate dog’s day out” and created by dog-lovers, for dog-lovers, DogFest was a huge hit when it took over the Knutsford-based estate last summer – and in just a couple of weeks time, the thrilling two-day event will be back at Tatton Park so you and your pup have the chance to “try your paw” at a whole host of activities.
Dog diving, agility courses, the ever-popular hay bale race, or entering the Fun Dog Show for your chance to win ‘Best in Show’, are just some of the things four-legged friends can get involved with.
You can also see some sensational dog displays, get advice from a variety of animal experts, learn training tips at the Dog School run by leading UK dog welfare charity and DogFest event partner, Dog’s Trust, and so much more.

There’s plenty of chances to shop, and grab some festival food and drink too.
This will be the third year that Dogs Trust UK has been DogFest’s charity event partner, and as the organisation has done in festivals previous, will be setting up its own ‘Dogs Trust Village’ where festival-goers can head to to learn all about some of the dogs currently looking for forever homes across the North West.
“We can’t wait to welcome dog lovers and their canine companions to this fantastic event,” Dogs Trust’s Regional Supporter Relations Manager, Shauna Stedman, said ahead of the festival’s return.
“This is the third year running that we’ve been the DogFest charity partner, and we always have a brilliant time meeting dogs and their owners.

“Our very own Dogs Trust Village will be at the event and is open to everyone to meet our dedicated team and take part in fun-filled games and activities like our enrichment garden to keep your pooch happy and entertained.”
DogFest 2023 is taking over Tatton Park on Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 June.
Both single-day and weekend tickets, family tickets, and a range of VIP packages are still available to get your hands on – with prices starting from as little as £21 for adults and £13 for children.
Olivia Dean announces HUGE Manchester gig at Co-op Live as part of UK tour
Emily Sergeant
Olivia Dean has announced she’s set to head out on the biggest UK and Europe headline tour of her career next year.
Fresh off-the-back of supporting the North East’s finest, Sam Fender, on his run of big outdoor gigs this summer – including a massive one at Wythenshawe Park this past weekend – Olivia Dean has now announced her very-own headline tour.
And of course she’ll be making a stop off here in Manchester as she heads around the UK.
The tour announcement comes ahead of the release of her sophmore album, The Art of Loving, which is out next month on 26 September, and follows the release of a collection of singles, including the already high-charting ‘Nice To Each Other’.
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter will first head out on a tour of some of the UK’s major cities, before taking on the rest of the continent and visiting cities like Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam along the way.
From her earliest show in 2017 with a crowd of just 70 people, on to three triumphant sold-out nights at the Hammersmith Apollo, Olivia has been firmly building herself powerful live legacy and is already on her way to carving out a legendary path.
On release, the multi BRIT Award nominee’s debut album Messy received widespread critical acclaim and cemented her status as one of the most compelling voices across neo-soul and pop.

While still relatively early on in her career, Olivia has already earned comparisons to the greats, and 2025 sees her ready to ‘scale up’ and ‘conquer’.
Olivia will kick off her tour next year in April, and will be taking to the stage of Manchester’s newest live entertainment arena, Co-op Live, on Saturday 25 April 2026, following a trip to Glasgow and before two huge gigs at London’s OVO Hydro Arena.
Tickets go on pre-sale at 10am next Wednesday 27 August for Co-op Members, and the general sale will follow on Friday 29 August, again at 10am – with tickets available here.
You can also re-order the album for early access to tickets here.

A big Taylor Swift listening party is coming to Manchester to celebrate her new album
Thomas Melia
An iconic Manchester music venue is hosting a Taylor Swift listening party to celebrate the release of her upcoming album this autumn.
The devil may work hard, but Ms. Swift sure works harder – as less than 500 days since the release of her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor has announced her twelfth LP titled The Life of a Showgirl, meaning the pop titan is back in full force with an era full of glitter, glitz, and showbiz glamour.
To celebrate, Manchester’s historic Deaf Institute is hosting a night dedicated to the newest era, and you’ll certainly be able to make ‘make the whole place shimmer’ as you walk into this Grade ll-listed building this October.
Get ready to hear everything from Taylor Swift’s stacked discography – including her humble beginnings like ‘Tim McGraw’, all the way through to her claiming the title as the ultimate ‘Anti-Hero’.
The DJs on the night will be spinning every single new track from Swift’s twelfth studio album too, all while mixing in some of her other standout songs.
Anyone keen to attend this Taylor Swift ‘Wonderland’ must be over 18 years old, and have their ID with them on the night, as unfortunately, there’s no ‘invisible string’ you can use to sneak yourself into this venue.
And if you’re turning 22 -or celebrating any other birthday – between 4 and 18 October, then you can score yourself free entry into this live music venue too, isn’t that ‘Gorgeous’?
