It’s finally happening – McDonald’s has confirmed that the viral Lotus Biscoff McFlurry is launching in the UK next week.
This is not a drill.
After making its way onto the menu in various countries across the globe, and after countless months of rumours circulating online and foodies begging the fast food giant to make it a reality, McDonald’s has finally confirmed what fans have been waiting for.
The Lotus Biscoff McFlurry is on its way to the UK, and it’ll be here in just a few days time.
The unique flavour of Lotus Biscoff has amassed millions of caramelised biscuit lovers worldwide, who have all been pleading with Maccies to team up with the makers of the sweet treat for a McFlurry collaboration.
Calls for a Biscoff-flavoured McFlurry have been coming in thick and fast over the past few months after rumours first emerged about it online, but McDonald’s had been keeping pretty tight-lipped about it all until it took to social media this morning to reveal that fans will finally be able to tuck into the ice cream delicacy before June is out.
Available in both mini and full sizes, the new limited-edition Lotus Biscoff McFlurry will see the beloved caramelised biscuit swirled onto soft serve McFlurry ice cream to give the dessert a signature crunchy twist.

You’ll be able to grab the Lotus Biscoff McFlurry for a limited-time only from next Wednesday (21 June) at McDonald’s branches all across the UK and Ireland.
A full-sized one will set you back £1.99, while a mini version will cost just £1.49.

Three tiny ‘chaos potatoes’ have been born at Chester Zoo… and they’re really flipping cute.
Born to parents Maris and Albert in late summer, the three rock hyrax pups – only affectionately known as ‘chaos potatoes’ – have just passed their first vet check with a clean bill of health, and now weigh roughly 350g.
Hyraxes are found across sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East, where they live among rocky landscapes and are most active in daylight.
The litter includes two boys and one girl, and keepers at Chester Zoo have decided to give them potato-themed names – Russ, Spud, and Jackie.

Currently, the three pups are a fraction of the size of the adults, which can weigh up to 4kg, but despite their small stature, they have an unlikely relative.
Believe it or not, rock hyraxes are actually a part of the same evolutionary group as elephants, as well as sirenians, which are the family of aquatic mammals that includes dugongs and manatees.
“Hyraxes are one of those species that you have to look for, but once you’ve seen them, they are fascinating to watch,” explained Megan Carpenter, who is a Keeper at Chester Zoo.
“The pups are little chaos potatoes. They are much more energetic than their parents and sometimes get the zoomies, darting about and testing their climbing and parkour skills.
“In contrast, the adults often wedge themselves into corners and grip on to steep rock faces for hours at a time. They’re incredibly well adapted to living among rocks and are much better climbers than you might expect.”
