Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott have announced a return to Manchester on their autumn UK tour.
The tour will include some of their biggest-ever shows as a duo, with support from special guest Billy Bragg at all dates.
They’ll be gigging at the AO Arena in Manchester, as well as the O2 Arena in London and Sheffield’s Utilita Arena.
And despite such massive arena shows on the cards, they’re promising tickets will remain at just £30.
Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott’s tour will be in support of their upcoming new album, N.K-Pop, which is due for release on 7 October.
Two songs from the album, Still and Too Much For One (Not Enough For Two) have already been released.

Their previous album, Manchester Calling, went straight to number one when it was released in March 2020.
In 2022, Paul Heaton’s songwriting was recognised with a prestigious Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection.
With some 15 million album sales under his belt, his music career has included stints as the frontman of The Housemartins (the same group that gave us Norman ‘Fatboy Slim’ Cook) and, of course, The Beautiful South, who released 10 hugely successful albums.
In 2001 Heaton took a break from The Beautiful South – where Jacqui Abbott was lead vocalist between 1994 and 2000 – and released his first solo album Fat Chance, followed by two more solo records.
In 2011, the pair reunited for Heaton’s musical, The 8th, and have since released four albums as a duo.
Earlier this year, Paul Heaton cemented his place in the nation’s hearts by putting £1000 behind the bar of 60 pubs across the UK and Ireland, so fans could have a drink on him on his birthday.
Tickets for Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott’s autumn UK tour will go on sale at 9.30am on Thursday 1 September through Gigs and Tours.

Aitch is playing a huge hometown set at The Warehouse Project

Aitch has booked another massive hometown slot as the Moston-born rapper will be playing none other than the home of clubbing here in Manchester: The Warehouse Project.
Joining the WHP25 programme, which is already stacked right up until New Year’s Eve, the 25-year-old is the latest rapper to take on the famous club venue, following the likes of Little Simz and Loyle Carner, who played the event series back in October.
Aitch‘s new album, 4 – which denotes the number of studio LPs he’s made to date and acts as a nod to the M4 postcode – was released on June 20 and has already proved popular with fans.
Having just played Parklife as well as a secret set at Glastonbury this year, he’s already performed most of his biggest slots for the year, but the ever-rising local rapper thought he’d given Manchester another big gig and one more chance to see him live in 2025.
As an increasingly popular main event act across the UK, a headline show at Warehouse Project is nothing short of a massive deal for any artist, let alone a Manc.
The date itself will see him see him performing songs from the new record, which is his second to hit the top 10, as well as a selection of multiple platinum-selling hits.
Sharing details of early access tickets on Instagram stories shortly after the announcement, the UK hip-hop and grime star reminded fans: “This is the only chance to see me shut this sh*t down this year!!!”
It’s actually his only major domestic show in full stop, so if you’re a die-hard fan of Harrison Armstrong and his music, you really don’t want to miss this one.
He’s not the only big name coming to Mayfield this season either.

Everyone’s favourite Scottish ballad-maker, Lewis Capaldi, is heading out on tour across the UK, including a massive Manchester date.
Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi is ready to tug at our heartstrings again right in front of our eyes as he announces a new UK arena tour.
This huge announcement comes right after his surprise set at the UK’s biggest music event of the year, Glastonbury, where he made a heroic return to the Pyramid Stage just two years after being forced to pull out.
Capaldi is known for writing some of the most notable and emotive hits of the late 2010s and early 2020s, including a long list of anthems such as ‘Someone You Loved’, ‘Bruises’ and ‘Before You Go’.
His monster of a hit ‘Someone You Loved’ has surpassed 3.9 billion views and is the UK’s most-streamed song of all time, so it is safe to say that his presence has been well and truly missed.
To many fans’ delight, the singer has stepped back into the spotlight and is ready to sing his heart out live at a variety of arenas across the UK, including Co-op Live right here in Manchester.
Now, in a post on his official Instagram account announcing this upcoming UK and Ireland arena tour, it’s good to see the Scottish powerhouse hasn’t lost his wit and charm as he jokes, “About time I got back to work.”
These shows are set to be in high demand as the singer has also revealed these upcoming dates, “Will be my only shows in the UK, Ireland or Europe this year! Would love to see ya there.”
On the back of his glorious Glasto return, Capaldi has dropped a huge heart-wrencher titled ‘Survive’ which offers more insight into the struggles and challenges the singer has been facing.
There is no confirmation of whether this new single marks the launch of a bigger project or not, but we can’t wait to scream his hits at the top of our lungs, regardless of when he pays Manchester a visit later this year.
