The Warehouse Project has revealed the line-up for their legendary New Year’s Eve gig and this year’s show is we can assure this promises to be a blockbuster way to see out 2023.
Mancs and people from all over the UK have been ringing in the new year at Warehouse Project for well over a decade now and, in fairness, we can’t think of many better ways to spend NYE than raving at one the best club nights on the planet.
That being said, it’s always going to be hard for the iconic club night promoters to top themselves every 12 months but, lucky for you, the WHP lineup for NYE 2023 is another belter as per usual.
With the likes of Rudimental, DJ EZ, Hannah Wants, Sammy Virji, Girls Don’t Sync and many more coming along for the highly-anticipated end-of-the-year party, this thing is going to sell out in a flash as it always does.
This season of Warehouse Project has already gotten off to an absolute stormer with the likes of Bicep, Christ Stussy, Nina Kraviz, Fisher, Camelphat, Annie Mac and countless other big names having already graced the Depot Mayfield this year, so we’re glad to see the action isn’t stopping anytime soon.
As well as RUDIM3NTAL debuting a brand new show as their new three-piece iteration, there’ll be an array of other dance music stalwarts like Paul Woolford, Jaguar and Alex Mills on the main stage.
Over on the unique and innovative new 360° Concourse stage, the likes of Sammy Virji, Girls Don’t Sync, La La, Rich Reason and Ghoulish. And then, at the intimate Archive stage, UK talents Hammer, Hayley Zalassi, Gina Breeze, as well as residents Krysko and Joe Motion will be playing under the arches.
With many other big names being added to the WHP23 programme over the next two months, these lot are making sure to see the year out in style.
Tickets for The Warehouse Project’s New Year’s Eve show are already on sale and are sure to sell out fast, so you don’t want to mess about if you want to get your NYE plans sorted without any hiccups.
The Manc also had an absolute blast at WHP’s first-ever international festival earlier this year too, and given how much of a success it was, you can be sure they’ll be doing it again in 2024.

Stage times confirmed for Oasis Live ’25 at Heaton Park in Manchester
Daisy Jackson
Oasis will finally return to Manchester for five massive hometown gigs this week – and stage times for their Heaton Park show have been confirmed.
The Gallagher brothers have already reunited for two gigs in Cardiff ahead of their Manchester shows.
Oasis will be performing in Heaton Park on 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20 of July, with support from long-time friends Richard Ashcroft and Cast.
With about 80,000 people expected to flock to the fields for the Oasis Live ’25 shows, there’s a lot of planning going on behind the scenes.
And the stage times for the Oasis Manchester gigs have just been confirmed by the band.
Oasis will be taking to the stage at 8.15pm, and with a 10.30pm curfew, that’s around two hours of glorious Gallagher hits.
Gates to Heaton Park open at 3pm and organisers are expecting large crowds – they’re encouraging fans to allow plenty of time for travel and arrive early.
As a reminder, there are shuttle buses running directly from Lever Street to Heaton Park from 1.30pm, but these are almost sold out.
You can also get tickets for Big Green Coach here, or use trams from Victoria Station up to the venue.

A much-loved Manc drinking spot is handing out FREE spritzes to Sounds of the City gig-goers
Danny Jones
Popular Manchester city centre drinking spot, Society, is handing out free spritzes to gig-goers heading to this year’s Sounds of the City festival.
The annual series of live music events returned at the start of the month, with Castlefield Bowl once again being turned into one of the best amphitheatres in the country – not that we’re biased, or anything.
And since we’re in a month packed with outdoor gigs (pretty sure there’s some local band on at Heaton Park), what better drink to help you get a bit loose before the party starts than a refreshing spritz in the sunshiiine?
Better yet, if you fancy copping a complimentary one, Society beer and food hall are handing out freebies for those going to Sounds of the City 2025.
As you can see, the deal is simple: turn up to the beautiful Society beer garden or equally lovely indoor space and show your ticket to the bar staff to get your hands on a free spritzer.
Now, there is a catch, as they’re only promising 100 free drinks in total across all seven concerts this July, and three of them have already been – which could be a blessing or a curse – and they’re available on a first come first serve basis from 4pm on each event date.
However, we’ll admit we were a little late to the news on this occasion, so there’s a chance plenty of others haven’t heard about the offer either, meaning you could still be able to sort yourself a free Sarti or Aperol Spritz (only 50 of each available).

With 2025 season openers, Elbow, having kicked things off in true Manc style, as well as The Charlatans and Shed Seven having already played, the word may have gotten out, but it’s still worth a crack. Besides, Society is still a brilliant summery drinking spot regardless.
The deal is available across all remaining concert dates:
Wed, 9 July – The Black Keys, with support from Miles Kane
Thurs, 10 July – Bloc Party, with support from The Royston Club
Fri, 11 July – Rizzle Kicks, with support from Maverick Sabre and Abbie McCarthy
Sat, 12th July – Basement Jaxx, with support from Mike Skinner (DJ Set) and Storm Mollison
Oh, and if you’re wondering what SOTC 2025 has been like so far, the neighbouring balconies have been full as always, Castlefield Hotel has been packed, and we got Guy Garvey to wave at a train driver…
